My Christmas poem from December 2018, when I was allowed to go home for Christmas after spending two months in Hospital, during which time my imagination had created my escapism space-craft– Ivor’s Time Machine In Micro Space.
, A Starry ChristmasEve
“Look, up there”, high in the night sky
“No!”, It’s not the sleigh and reindeer
What is that mysterious red space craft?
Zooming through the moon-shadow clouds
“There again”, the crowd declares
“Yes! it’s that alien shipItmims”
Why tonight, when the airways are so busy?
With so many precious gifts to be delivered
“But wait”, the alien’s steering away towards the north

The featured imaged above is photo I took today, because coincidently, I happen to be reading a book of Emily Dickinson’s poems … and thank you to my neice Kerri, (a graphic design artist) for cleverly enhancing the image, so as to make the words legible .. (my original photo was deplorable due to bright reflections from the midday sun)
I am pleased and proud to announce that my two ‘Christmas’ poems ‘Australian Reindeer & A Friend Calls’, were published in the Positive Words Magazine, December Issue, and thank you to the Editor, Sandra, for selecting my poems… For further information about this fabulous Australian magazine, visit their site via this link > https://positivewordsmagazine.wordpress.com/ Attached below, I have scanned the poems directly from my copy of the Magazine

And there’s plenty of curiosity in these “odds and ends” pieces of poetry that I had compiled back in October 2018. They were all “verse comments” that I had made to some of my WordPress readers, about their posts at that time …
