Tit Bits #3

My darkest past

lives within

my brightest cast,

life’s new day is my win.

I’m back to reality

a speck in the crowd,

writing about my journey,

dreaming aloud.

Dreamtime

is the best time.

Giving my heart away

an endless risk

enduring my every day,

an everlasting kiss

caresses my stay,

do you feel my bliss.

G'day, and welcome to my blog site. My name is Ivor Steven, I live in Geelong, Australia. I'm an ex-industrial chemist, and a retired plumber, and a former Carer of my wife(Carole), for 30 years, who suffered from severe MS. I Write poetry about those personal thoughts, throughout and beyond my life as a Carer. I've been blogging for over 2 years, and writing poems for 19 years. Of course a lot of my poems are about my favourite subject Carole, but since I've been blogging my writings have become quite varied, humourous, mystical, observational, and even a few monster/horror poems.

    1. I did have a “little” cruise romance, but nothing serious. Tit Bits, is actually a collection of small pieces that I’ve written as comments to fellow bloggers/writers, so each stanza is a separate piece, but for some unknown reason when I put them together they seemed to blend together. 😊

    1. I’ve now organised myself a trip, tourist style to China in October this year. Only 10 days, but will get to see some magnificent places, like the Great Wall and Forbidden City etc… 😆

      1. I have been watching this Chinese TV series called Kings War on Netflix, about the war between the Qin and Chu dynasty. It is fascinating! China is a world I always dreamed visiting. You MUST take notes and share them!
