An Old Plumber, An Ex-Carer, An Amateur Poet, Words From The Heart
Under The Snow
A special poem I wrote, after I’d taken my Lady to hospital for the last time, on the day of her last birthday. Happy Birthday Carole, and I wonder if you still wonder that I wonder.
G'day, and welcome to my blog site. My name is Ivor Steven, I live in Geelong, Australia. I'm an ex-industrial chemist, and a retired plumber, and a former Carer of my wife(Carole), for 30 years, who suffered from severe MS. I Write poetry about those personal thoughts, throughout and beyond my life as a Carer.
I've been blogging for over 2 years, and writing poems for 19 years. Of course a lot of my poems are about my favourite subject Carole, but since I've been blogging my writings have become quite varied, humourous, mystical, observational, and even a few monster/horror poems.

Beautiful, moving poem, Ivor!
Happy birthday to your beloved πΈ
Ivor
Trust me when I tell you
I’ve been there too many times
I’ve said good bye
A heart will as long as the spirit lives
Way passed the physical sense
Every time I think of this my mind goes numb,to fall into darkness is one
But to dig into the hard and its cold
Is so much more pain
I can’t take the darkness anymore……..
It was. The person harassing her also tried to hurt her by going after her friends. The Lonely Author Blog ended up with a virus on his computer. And Sameera had trouble with her blog.
They also used my Dabir Dalton id on Yahoo to say something nasty about Nan and tried to make it look like I did it.
Someone has been harassing Nandita and The Lonely Author Blog while you were on your cruise. I had 19 of those strange messages in my spam folder and finely deleted them this past weekend.
She was unhappy about having MS, but she adapted quickly to her new lifestyle, probably much more efficiently than I did…. and yes she was happily in love with me, and the sparkle in her eyes and her gorgeous smile, melted me like a block of chocolate on a warm spring day xx

Glorious words dear Sheldon, my pain has dissipated into cherished memories, I still cry, however, they’re tears of liquid joy π

Your welcome. I came here because most likely Nan is sleeping and it could be hours before she approves her comments.
I went back and left her a message letting her know that I’ve already warned you about them.
