Shanghai,To The Markets

The tour of Yu Garden and it’s neighbouring Bazaar was enthralling, entertaining, and the market place was huge and busy.

Above, The famous A.P.Plaza is China’s biggest “fake market”, located underground near the Science and Technology Museum. It has more the 1,000 stores.

G'day, and welcome to my blog site. My name is Ivor Steven, I live in Geelong, Australia. I'm an ex-industrial chemist, and a retired plumber, and a former Carer of my wife(Carole), for 30 years, who suffered from severe MS. I Write poetry about those personal thoughts, throughout and beyond my life as a Carer. I've been blogging for over 2 years, and writing poems for 19 years. Of course a lot of my poems are about my favourite subject Carole, but since I've been blogging my writings have become quite varied, humourous, mystical, observational, and even a few monster/horror poems.

  1. What is the “fake market”? A market that isn’t real like fake store fronts or they sell “fakes” like “Chanal” and “Yves Snot Lauren”? PS – I’m living vicariously through you!

    1. Yes I was lucky to go on the trip and get into China, at the Beijing airport they had a body temperature scan, and my temp’ came up normal, I was so scared, because the plane trip and travel took a total of 22 hours from my home to my hotel room, and I was feeling so sick !! xxx
