Day Lily And Love

I’m going for a procedure this morning, a bronchoscopy, an examination of my lungs. Hopefully they’ll have some good results for me, and I’m able to go home soon, so I can tend to my Day Lily.

Upon my pillow I sleep

Good morning, I do peek

From the cushion of my dreams

A pads radiating beams

Blushing red hues, oh so bright

You bloom during the night

After cuddling the dew

You open up your scenic view.

Flowering, standing proud and steep

Perfection at my feet

A glorious Lily, like wings of a dove

And by Day you air your love

    Just praying that they work out exactly what is happening Ivor and can release you from the isolation … you’re doing well, hang in there!

    1. No results yet, have to wait, I’m feeling reasonable, although the procedure has left me sneezing and sniffling all the time. I’m very saddened at the moment, a terrible tragedy on Carole’s side of the family, our grandniece, Georgia, only 20, has committed suicide,………. 😭😔My heart is hurting for the family. My tears are flooded in pain, and wish my cloud would stop raining

        I’m so sorry to hear this, Ivor.
        One of my brother’s sons committed suicide at aged 21. It was devastating and something you never “get over” or forget, etc. 😦
