G'day, and welcome to my blog site. My name is Ivor Steven, I live in Geelong, Australia. I'm an ex-industrial chemist, and a retired plumber, and a former Carer of my wife(Carole), for 30 years, who suffered from severe MS. I Write poetry about those personal thoughts, throughout and beyond my life as a Carer. I've been blogging for over 2 years, and writing poems for 19 years. Of course a lot of my poems are about my favourite subject Carole, but since I've been blogging my writings have become quite varied, humourous, mystical, observational, and even a few monster/horror poems.

    1. This is fun fun, and my heart is happy.
      I went and saw the Edgar Allan Poe historical building today. I now have a Poe, shirt and hat, as you know, one of my poems is in the book,
      Melpomone, as a co-author, with Edgar Allan Poe, so it was another dream day for me. πŸ€—πŸ€—πŸ’œ

  16. I looked up the cd you are holding, the new release by Russell Morris. There is a wonderful song that you and I both can relate to… “Forever Remembered.” Thank you for sharing it in the photos! You have led me to many Australian musicians that I have grown to love and enjoy. Was the cd a gift to you? I love these photos and seeing you so happy dear friend., I love the photo of you with the youngest little girl. She is a little angel! Enjoy your time with them Ivor. Hugs and love!!
