Inside the clouds
Comes the secret of the rain
Outside, the sky
Reflects the ocean’s colouring veins
Within the sun
Burst, undying corona rays
Overhead, the moon
Casts shadows night and day
Underneath, there’s the earth
Orbiting, in charge of seasonal change
Nearby, there’s Venus and Mars
Planets without smog and cars
Above, there’s the stars
The universe’s infinite mountain range

G'day, and welcome to my blog site. My name is Ivor Steven, I live in Geelong, Australia. I'm an ex-industrial chemist, and a retired plumber, and a former Carer of my wife(Carole), for 30 years, who suffered from severe MS. I Write poetry about those personal thoughts, throughout and beyond my life as a Carer.
I've been blogging for over 2 years, and writing poems for 19 years. Of course a lot of my poems are about my favourite subject Carole, but since I've been blogging my writings have become quite varied, humourous, mystical, observational, and even a few monster/horror poems.

According to what the astrologers say
there’s at least one each, and that’s just
the Milky Way β¨

One each is enough
No need to be greedy
Unless you’ve a hand full
Of black hearts and trumps

Kind of like a bird’s eye view, if the bird had a space suit and a rocket and stuff. Lovely read. β₯.

We have had a very wet winter so far this year, here in Adelaide. Our water tanks, of which we have many, are overflowing for the first time in ages. So its rainwater freshness for us while it lasts. Maybe it has headed your way from here

Can I ask? The other day you mentioned re scheduling your posts. And yes they turned up refreshed on the reader. Today I inadvertently backdated our post BUSY on weekly prompts. I changed the date to today but it’s still showing up on the reader with yesterday’s posts. How do you do yours? Thanks Ivor
