G'day, and welcome to my blog site. My name is Ivor Steven, I live in Geelong, Australia. I'm an ex-industrial chemist, and a retired plumber, and a former Carer of my wife(Carole), for 30 years, who suffered from severe MS. I Write poetry about those personal thoughts, throughout and beyond my life as a Carer. I've been blogging for over 2 years, and writing poems for 19 years. Of course a lot of my poems are about my favourite subject Carole, but since I've been blogging my writings have become quite varied, humourous, mystical, observational, and even a few monster/horror poems.

  2. A lovely tribute to your dad, is this an anniversary?

    PS. I sorted the other problem. The penny dropped that when you said re-schedule you actually did mean RE-schedule and not just change the date! Thanks anyway 🙂

      1. I thought if Gerry was back online he might overnight write the prompt, so I didn’t put it on the scheduler. This morning my iPad App wouldn’t let me edit from preview or even publish, so I went to the dashboard but it published immediately without allowing me to change anything and backdated to yesterday! I need to get back to WordPress and attempt to get them to sort this. ridiculous App. Thank you Ivor 🙂

      4. Sometimes, I just turn it all off, take a break, maybe come back 4 or 5 hours later…. gives the machine a break, and I get a psycho’ break… xx
