Tomorrow’s Sky



Floating on my bed of rhyme

I continued to drift in dream time

Reaching out through the window

I imagined what I could borrow

From the world’s future of sorrow

And beyond the blue horizon

On the edge of the Indian Ocean

I grabbed a piece of tomorrow’s sky

Strange, the feeling dazzled my eyes

Then I spied a bright azure hue of daylight

And in the neon view was an ancient site

Nature’s unperturbed, “The Great Australian Bight”

    1. The Great Australian Bight is still on my bucket list. .. I have not gone any further west than Adelaide 🌏 the Bight is one of our world’s pristine areas. . The drive across the Nullarbor from Adelaide to Perth is 2595 km and takes 27 hrs 😄🌏
