G'day, and welcome to my blog site. My name is Ivor Steven, I live in Geelong, Australia. I'm an ex-industrial chemist, and a retired plumber, and a former Carer of my wife(Carole), for 30 years, who suffered from severe MS. I Write poetry about those personal thoughts, throughout and beyond my life as a Carer. I've been blogging for over 2 years, and writing poems for 19 years. Of course a lot of my poems are about my favourite subject Carole, but since I've been blogging my writings have become quite varied, humourous, mystical, observational, and even a few monster/horror poems.

      2. She was quite amazing .. and so lovingly adaptable to all the dramatic and trauma that was occurring around her .. she was with Carole and I for 8 years, and then another 5 years with me 🐶💕🐶

    1. Lily was only tiny but she had the heart of a lioness .. she both Carole’s loving companion and then mine 🐶🐶💕💕 and brought us great joy 💕🌏😊🐶 .. Frankie is filling Lilies paws perfectly 🐶🤗((hugs)) .. my Lizard 🦎 poem is a true story 😎🐶🦎🦎

  11. Both of them are just wonderful pieces! My girl is so so cute- hind leg dances, enjoys all day pats aww. How lovely. Charming poem! The bonding between man and the canine is evolutionarily strengthened.
    I’m so so sorry about Lily.
    Also, heart congrats on the selection! I’m not surprised your masterpieces have been picked.
