On that day 2016, I wrote this poem “Home”, as my little tribute to the man who was my personal muse and mentor for over fifty years. Home

Take me to my home

Home is where my heart is

Home is on that windy hill

Home is a secret valley

Home is a heavenly cloud

Take me to my home

I’m waiting here all alone

I’m packed ready to go

I’m departing this old place

I’m leaving this world behind

G'day, and welcome to my blog site. My name is Ivor Steven, I live in Geelong, Australia. I'm an ex-industrial chemist, and a retired plumber, and a former Carer of my wife(Carole), for 30 years, who suffered from severe MS. Thank you Ingrid … my words don’t quite match the depth of my feelings for the great man.. .. his books, poems, and music have been the living backbone of my life throughout my existence of everything I’ve been through … and tonight the show continues glow … Here is his “Joan of Arc” lyrically and musically one of his most poerful pieces ..
