A Silvery Moon

The morning after

Daylight suddenly became noon

As I hazily forgot

About the midnight moon

That sparkled in a glass of champagne

Stirred by my evening’s silver spoon

Which are now hovering

Under the ceiling fan

Of my slithery room

G'day, and welcome to my blog site. My name is Ivor Steven, I live in Geelong, Australia. I'm an ex-industrial chemist, and a retired plumber, and a former Carer of my wife(Carole), for 30 years, who suffered from severe MS. I Write poetry about those personal thoughts, throughout and beyond my life as a Carer. I've been blogging for over 2 years, and writing poems for 19 years. Of course a lot of my poems are about my favourite subject Carole, but since I've been blogging my writings have become quite varied, humourous, mystical, observational, and even a few monster/horror poems.

    1. Thanks .. Bushy … Actually Go Jane Go was a band made up of Canadian Musicians to especially tour the Aussie Music Festivals in 2013, I saw them perform at the Port Fairy Music Festival … they featured Canadian singer/songwriter David Francey …

Thank you for asking about Coops! πŸ™‚ He is doing better. He has 3 more days on the antibiotic. We hope he stays well after that. If not, they said they need to run some more extensive med-tests. 😦 But, he is always the sweet, happy-camper. πŸ™‚
