Waiting at the Door




I was waiting last year

waiting last month

waiting last week

waiting yesterday

I am waiting again tonight

do I wait for tomorrow?


I might as well keep waiting

wait for what I have been waiting for

wait for that revolving door

    From your eloquent, relatable poem, I surmise that you hate waiting as much as I do. No rush on the “revolving door!” The music video is gorgeous and goes well with the wonderful poem.

    1. Frankie is definitely glorious company for me, and he is a happy and friendly doggie 🐶 and loves “hugs” ..
      The poem was some words I found in box of old note of hand written rough pieces … so I rehashed the words and my poem was born 😊🌏💕🤗🐶

  8. Coop and I can relate! Those sweet doggies of ours…they wait mostly patiently…always watching…ready to go…I wonder if they could talk in English if they’d tell us how boring we are! 😉 HA! 🙂 Or they might say, “Hurry up now!” 😛

    1. Haha … we are just back from our walkie.. and Frankie is happy now. especially when he gets to the lick up the leftover milk in my cereal bowl 🍚 ..
      Yoann Lemoine’s voice is outstanding on this song Carolyn .. and the lyrics are made for my poem 🐶🌏😊🤗💕
