An Old Plumber, An Ex-Carer, An Amateur Poet, Words From The Heart
A Welcoming Roar, is up at Coffee House Writers Magazine
Hello dear readers and followers, I now write for “Coffee House Writers” magazine on a fortnightly basis, and my poem“A Weloming Roar”, is in this week’s edition of Coffee House Writers Magazine. … please click on the link below to read my poem, at Coffee House Writers. >> https://coffeehousewriters.com/a-welcoming-roar/
G'day, and welcome to my blog site. My name is Ivor Steven, I live in Geelong, Australia. I'm an ex-industrial chemist, and a retired plumber, and a former Carer of my wife(Carole), for 30 years, who suffered from severe MS. I Write poetry about those personal thoughts, throughout and beyond my life as a Carer.
I've been blogging for over 2 years, and writing poems for 19 years. Of course a lot of my poems are about my favourite subject Carole, but since I've been blogging my writings have become quite varied, humourous, mystical, observational, and even a few monster/horror poems.

We’re all different aren’t we with our various types of back pain – the best thing ever for my back was when the physio massaged it, seemed a bit sore at the time, but the movement immediately afterwards was so much easier. 🙂
Congratulations 👏👏👏👏

Yeah … back to bed again now … I can stay active for an hour, then I have to rest … writing and blogging is beyond me at the moment .. ((Hugs))

These days we’re told that movement is better than bed rest, but I’ve always found more relief from bed rest than walking around. I wish you well. 🙂

My Physio told me, rest, heat, and exercises … the exercises are sore to do … “but no gain without pain” .. 🤗😉
