G'day, and welcome to my blog site. My name is Ivor Steven, I live in Geelong, Australia. I'm an ex-industrial chemist, and a retired plumber, and a former Carer of my wife(Carole), for 30 years, who suffered from severe MS. I Write poetry about those personal thoughts, throughout and beyond my life as a Carer.
I've been blogging for over 2 years, and writing poems for 19 years. Of course a lot of my poems are about my favourite subject Carole, but since I've been blogging my writings have become quite varied, humourous, mystical, observational, and even a few monster/horror poems.

Well haikued (not sure that is a word but hey, it is now) Ivor.
You’re welcome!
I had a busy week AND a busy day so far today…I am just now getting to leave some comments on blogs that I read earlier.
I hope you and Sir Frankie are having a wonderful day! 🙂
Coop is napping at my feet right now. 🙂

Thank you Jez … all I know is that the plural of haiku is “haiku” ….

‘haikus’ being what a poet does when that last line is being too elusive lol

These words resonate with me, Ivor: particularly those concerning corporate greed!

Cool haiku. I like the way you incorporated the elements, one of the most important ways to make a haiku what it is.
