Hello dear readers and followers, I am on Holidays, resting at my siblings places in Ballarat and will not blogging very much for the next 2 weeks.



On The Seventh Day Before Christmas

Today a family tradition was broken

Our Christmas day luncheon

Was held a week early

As was brother Danny’s

Seventy-fourth birthday

And we did not gather

For the usual home cooked feast



Instead, we entertained ourselves

At a local riverside restaurant

Where we still raised our glasses

And enjoyed the luxury of being waited on

“Knowing, Mum and Dad would be smiling down on us”

  12. Happy Birthday Danny!
    We celebrated early too, I did a Christmas lunch on Sunday for those who cannot be with us on Christmas Day. We’ll be cooking again for the rest of the family on the day itself. Can’t wait, I love Christmas!
