Waterfall

Today we went to Geelong’s picturesque “Buckleys Falls River Reserve” for our morning walkies and I took several photos using my iPhone and wrote the Haiku, attached below, while relaxing and enjoying the beautiful scenery all around us.

G'day, and welcome to my blog site. My name is Ivor Steven, I live in Geelong, Australia. I'm an ex-industrial chemist, and a retired plumber, and a former Carer of my wife(Carole), for 30 years, who suffered from severe MS. I Write poetry about those personal thoughts, throughout and beyond my life as a Carer. I've been blogging for over 2 years, and writing poems for 19 years. Of course a lot of my poems are about my favourite subject Carole, but since I've been blogging my writings have become quite varied, humourous, mystical, observational, and even a few monster/horror poems.

    1. Thanks Carolyn … Frankie loved the bushwalk, but the track was a bit rough for my wobbly legs and I’m sore today, however the lovely scenery was well worth the effort … 🤗😍💚🐶

  2. That’s a really lovely place, so unspoilt and I see a picnic bench and that reminds me of the fantastic picnic lunch you prepared, thermos of tea and all. Thank you for sharing these beautiful photos. And your haiku is just perfect, flows like the falling water.
