G'day, and welcome to my blog site. My name is Ivor Steven, I live in Geelong, Australia. I'm an ex-industrial chemist, and a retired plumber, and a former Carer of my wife(Carole), for 30 years, who suffered from severe MS. I Write poetry about those personal thoughts, throughout and beyond my life as a Carer.
I've been blogging for over 2 years, and writing poems for 19 years. Of course a lot of my poems are about my favourite subject Carole, but since I've been blogging my writings have become quite varied, humourous, mystical, observational, and even a few monster/horror poems.

Thanks Willow… I had a fabulous time and a lady who I met before the show offered me a ride home, she was so kind , I’m glad I accepted her lovely offer.. it was very chilly when we got out … 🤗🌏😍🎶

He sang lots of my favourites 🎶😍… and the concert gods were with me last night … I was buying a Damien Rice T-shirt before the show and a lady noticed the Leonard Cohen shirt I was wearing and we got chatting, as is my way … she was visiting from the other of the bay and was staying overnight in Geelong … well we were both there on own, and she offered me a lift home after the show as she was staying in a motel not too far away from my place .. what a wonderful piece of kindness, and there she was waiting for me after the show … 🤗😊🎶🌏 her name was Felicity and later we exchanged emails 🤗📖
