Reading between the lines
Looking north toward the twilight sky
There, in the cobalt canopy
The daylight moon flickered in my eye
In between the steel pylons
In between the copper cables
And the blackened power lines
I pondered, what was the moon’s perception?
Of Earth’s domineering digital congestion
Until Eyes Hear Sound

The Moon, blessed goddess of the crazy people called poets, knows that the truth is well hidden between the lines. She is a gracious lady and, of course, keeps our confidence

Yes, and if you had grandparents like mine, you’d know how to walk the line and make moonshine! 😄 You’re very welcome, Ivor. 🌞

Wonderful, ponderful, important poem, Ivor! Great photos and song, too!
Thinking about what nature thinks about us and our human-doings should make us treat the earth with greater loving care and appreciation. I often think about what the moon “sees” and it’s concerns. Yet, it keep shining for us, so beautifully.
Hope your day is going superbly, Ivor!
