G'day, and welcome to my blog site. My name is Ivor Steven, I live in Geelong, Australia. I'm an ex-industrial chemist, and a retired plumber, and a former Carer of my wife(Carole), for 30 years, who suffered from severe MS. I Write poetry about those personal thoughts, throughout and beyond my life as a Carer.
I've been blogging for over 2 years, and writing poems for 19 years. Of course a lot of my poems are about my favourite subject Carole, but since I've been blogging my writings have become quite varied, humourous, mystical, observational, and even a few monster/horror poems.

Brilliant verse, Ivor, and an incredibly lovely tune by those talented young women! π
Clunes was fascinatingβ¦ I sell many books, but I made lots of new writing friends β¦ Iβm afraid the marquee I was allocated was at the end of the line away from the main walkway ππ
A beautiful heart-touching trio…of photo, poem, and song! π
Your poem is so vivid and wonderful…I love thinking about the sky as a movie screen or a theater stage! So much happening for us to see and experience and enjoy! π
How was the weekend festival? I hope you had a good time! π

Thank you kindly Carolyn β¦ I happened to be in the right spot just after sunset to capture such an amazing photo π and I tried to describe the wondrous scenario β¦ the weekend was fantastic, I didnβt sell many books, but I met many of the other authors and lots of people visited my stall and for a friendly chat about my books ππππππΆ
