On our morning walkies, it was very overcast, but for some strange reason it didn’t rain, just a few drops here and there, like “Rain-less Tears”

Rain-less Tears
across the barren
winter paddocks
beyond the horizonโs
leafless trees
the gloomy clouds
are slowly assembling
above the melancholic
funeral congregation
humbly huddling
shoulder to shoulder
quietly weeping
rain-less tears

Sometimes, the skies, rumbled, the thunder, sounding off, but, there’s just, not a, single, drop of rain, and, it’s a way, that heaven, played us for, fools…

I find this poem to be beautiful and heart-touching, Ivor!
Sometimes Mother Nature shows her heart (emotions) without tears. We can feel her mood even without her tears. It’s interesting how the weather can change our moods, too. ๐
So glad Sir Frankie had his coat on! His expression makes me laugh! ๐

We’ve had thunderstorms in the afternoons with a lot of rain, fortunately. Excellent combo of your poem, photos, and music.
