G'day, and welcome to my blog site. My name is Ivor Steven, I live in Geelong, Australia. I'm an ex-industrial chemist, and a retired plumber, and a former Carer of my wife(Carole), for 30 years, who suffered from severe MS. I Write poetry about those personal thoughts, throughout and beyond my life as a Carer. I've been blogging for over 2 years, and writing poems for 19 years. Of course a lot of my poems are about my favourite subject Carole, but since I've been blogging my writings have become quite varied, humourous, mystical, observational, and even a few monster/horror poems.

  2. If only, the world’s leaders will, hear the pleas of, Frankie…but, no intelligent-enough leaders of the countries in the world is, wise, enough…unfortunately, as these crimes against humanity continues, and, until the guns and cannons are, right outside our front doors, nobody cares!

  8. We are more like brainwashed, conditioned and manipulated to not see what’s right in front of us. Those who are more aware are labeled trouble makers and all kinds of bad things, so the blind turn upon them and the message of slavery is lost and goes unheard. That’s why they label kids, starting in school, those who refuse to obey. Obedience is the only way they can keep us in line so they start us young, but we can break out of the coma. It’s just that a lot of people believe the lies and feel safe in them.
