G'day, and welcome to my blog site. My name is Ivor Steven, I live in Geelong, Australia. I'm an ex-industrial chemist, and a retired plumber, and a former Carer of my wife(Carole), for 30 years, who suffered from severe MS. I Write poetry about those personal thoughts, throughout and beyond my life as a Carer. I've been blogging for over 2 years, and writing poems for 19 years. Of course a lot of my poems are about my favourite subject Carole, but since I've been blogging my writings have become quite varied, humourous, mystical, observational, and even a few monster/horror poems.

  1. It is getting warm here, Ivor. I took my walk in late afternoon, and I was still a little too warm. Soon, I will have to walk in the morning! 😎 But you are heading into cooler weather. Frankie will be pleased! πŸΆπŸ’•β€οΈ

    1. Thank you for your wonderful comments, Cheryl … it’s going to be very warm for another 7 days, and 100′ F, on Saturday for my monthly Market Day. Hopefully, it will be cooler for Clunes Booktown Festival on the 22nd & 23rd of March …

  2. So glad you and Frankie get out for your walks before it gets too hot. πŸ™‚ Can’t be too careful.
Will it cool down any time soon?
We’re still having days of rain and snow. I was thinking today about how much little old Coop always enjoyed the snow days and the cool days. The hot days he was not a fan of.
