G'day, and welcome to my blog site. My name is Ivor Steven, I live in Geelong, Australia. I'm an ex-industrial chemist, and a retired plumber, and a former Carer of my wife(Carole), for 30 years, who suffered from severe MS. I Write poetry about those personal thoughts, throughout and beyond my life as a Carer.
I've been blogging for over 2 years, and writing poems for 19 years. Of course a lot of my poems are about my favourite subject Carole, but since I've been blogging my writings have become quite varied, humourous, mystical, observational, and even a few monster/horror poems.

How lovely. That is a scene we seldom if ever see in Alaska as both our sun and our mood ride to close to the horizon. Thank you for sharing it with me.
Your word-pics are so creative, so vibrant, so lovely, so fun, so filled with joy! Perfection, Ivor! One of your bestest! 🙂
Thank you for the smiles you bring with this post of photos, poem, and song! 🙂
Keep ridin’ on the moon, Ivor! 🙂

Thank you very much for your lovely words, Carolyn … It was late in the afternoon, and the bright 3/4 moon seemed to be smiling and rolling/surfing on the white wintry clouds … ☁🌖❄😍🐶📘💕
Gorgeous, dear Ivor! When I look from one image to the next, it appears as if the clouds are moving! How much fun would it be to hop on a cloud and play catch with the moon? Lovely verse, images and music!
Thank you kindly, Nancy … The late afternoon moon seemed to be smiling and rolling through the wintry clouds on its way to the twilight horizon, and I hoping my words captured those lovely images … 🌏🌥💙😎😍
I also saw the moon last night.

We’ve had clear winter skies in the afternoon, to view the moon, but it’s cloudy and rainy for next 7 days 😊🌔

Somewhat like our weather- but it’s hot and humid.
