G'day, and welcome to my blog site. My name is Ivor Steven, I live in Geelong, Australia. I'm an ex-industrial chemist, and a retired plumber, and a former Carer of my wife(Carole), for 30 years, who suffered from severe MS. I Write poetry about those personal thoughts, throughout and beyond my life as a Carer. I've been blogging for over 2 years, and writing poems for 19 years. Of course a lot of my poems are about my favourite subject Carole, but since I've been blogging my writings have become quite varied, humourous, mystical, observational, and even a few monster/horror poems.

    1. We’ve been into Sidney and had walk up and down Beacon Road to the waterfront and back … and now back ‘home’ lunch … my body clock is yet to adjust, so I’m retiring for a mid afternoon nanna nap 😴 😊🇨🇦😍🐶

      2. I was just thinking, the pups already love you and are going to miss you GREATLY when your visit comes to it’s conclusion. They look like THE sweetest pups!!! ❤️❤️❤️ Please give them some pats and love for me! 🙂

      3. The pups have the bestest of owners and they will fine when I leave. I was chatting to my cousin and she has the same breed (cavaliers) for over 40 years!!! … so they certainly in loving and caring hands … I fly out to Edmonton on Tuesday to meet up with my other cousin and, Maureen, and then we doing a road trip back to Vancouver Island, via the ‘Rocky’s’ … 🐶😊😍🇨🇦

  13. Lovely grounds and a gorgeous view. Is this your cousin’s permanent residence or a vacation house? I was under the impression you were visiting cousins in Montreal, not Vancouver Island. My mistake. Enjoy every minute of your holiday, dear Ivor. 🥰🌎🐶🐶🐶🤎
