Circadian Dysrhythmia
Lying under a dreamworld of clover
Feeling like I have been run over
By yesterday’s supersonic jet
But I am not dead yet
Even though my eyes are firmly shut
Inside my head lives a snoring walnut

Yes, jet lag is more than exhaustion. It takes your body a few days to adjust. Going forward or backwards in time disturbs its rhythm.

Wonderful little poem gave me a good chuckle. I don’t travel anymore, dear Ivor, but I’ve experienced enough jet lag to know the toll it takes. Eat, walk Frankie, and nap. Everything else can wait. π₯°

Ha on your poem! π Bestest poem on jet lag!
Ugh on jet lag. π¦
Drink lots of water. Rest. Eat. Sleep. Tend to Frankie. Everything else can wait until you are ready.
