Throwback Friday, Flying Through Time

Today’s Throwback Friday poem is drawn from my upcoming book, Time Hears No Sound. It opens Chapter 3, Time: Hears No Commands—a section that explores the quiet rebellion of nature and spirit against the ticking of the clock.





Flying Through Time

Flying below the clouds
or
Zooming above the bay
or
Swooping across the paddocks


My wings
are oblivious
to the climb
And do not hear
the sound of time

Of course a lot of my poems are about my favourite subject Carole, but since I've been blogging my writings have become quite varied, humourous, mystical, observational, and even a few monster/horror poems.
