Todayβs Throwback Friday poem (originally written in August 2023) is drawn from my upcoming book, Time Hears No Sound. It appears as the first poem in the Tanka section of Chapter 10, Timeβs Short Poems: Haiku, Tanka, etc.

Iβve done lots of meandering today, and now I need to have a doggie nap
My Mind Meanders (a Tanka)
On our morning trail
Where beginnings never end
Imagination
Meanders around each bend
Conscious of natureβs haven

Wonder, wander and imagination go hand in! Another wonderful trio of words, photographs, and music Ivor. So appreciated on a very cold day here in the state of Pennsylvania where right now weβre at 16Β° but it feels like 7Β° π₯Ά

I can see that and I think he should be a role model teaching us to all take a nap or three.
