G'day, and welcome to my blog site. My name is Ivor Steven, I live in Geelong, Australia. I'm an ex-industrial chemist, and a retired plumber, and a former Carer of my wife(Carole), for 30 years, who suffered from severe MS. I Write poetry about those personal thoughts, throughout and beyond my life as a Carer.
I've been blogging for over 2 years, and writing poems for 19 years. Of course a lot of my poems are about my favourite subject Carole, but since I've been blogging my writings have become quite varied, humourous, mystical, observational, and even a few monster/horror poems.

such a beautiful thing you’d expressed of the promises you’d made to that other someone, and at the same time, it’s really sad, that the two of you are, separated by life and death, but, you know you’ll meet again someday in the future, for she’s waiting for you, at heaven’s, gate…
I’ll give it back tomorrow, although there is another one these tomorrow … nite, nite, my friend … this trilogy of commemorative remembrance poems has taken me to the limits of my creativity 🥰💕💙📖📘🌏
OH. So beautiful, sweet, powerful and heart-touching…title, poem, photos, and music.
(Pass the tissues, please.)
And please know that we are all here lifting you up…you are not alone in your times of great missing from such a great sad loss. Thinking of you and thinking of Carole. 💜💜
I know she wants you to be at rest knowing she is at rest and free. Her love and concern for you continues. It always will. I believe that. 🙂

(((HUGS))) and thank you for your caring and loving words, Carolyn … there is one more tomorrow … like a Trilogy of poems, maybe I’ll call them, “Landscapes of Remembrance” (a Trilogy) 💕📘🌏💛💙😍🐶🌞🌗
