G'day, and welcome to my blog site. My name is Ivor Steven, I live in Geelong, Australia. I'm an ex-industrial chemist, and a retired plumber, and a former Carer of my wife(Carole), for 30 years, who suffered from severe MS. I Write poetry about those personal thoughts, throughout and beyond my life as a Carer.
I've been blogging for over 2 years, and writing poems for 19 years. Of course a lot of my poems are about my favourite subject Carole, but since I've been blogging my writings have become quite varied, humourous, mystical, observational, and even a few monster/horror poems.

So sad.
So true. A change of pace would be a very good thing.
Once again, if we pay attention to nature it can teach us so many important things. I wish for more Human-Beans to slow down and pay attention. When we REALLY see…we are more likely to do. (do good things for the planet and each other)

Yes indeed Carolyn … there I was kneeling down on the wet ground taking a photo of the snail 🐌 .. one of nature’s incredible critters … who always moves at the same slow and steady pace no matter what the situation is around him … and my thoughts and words followed his knowingly serene trail 🐌🌏🤗💕

I was totally broken when the love of my life left me, it was so hard for me l almost gave up if not for a friend who directed me to a very good and powerful man who helped me bring back the love of my life and now he treat me with so much love and care I don’t know what problems you are passing through but with what he did for me I know he can help you, Do not hesitate to massage him on his Facebook page.

I love how some of the snails I’ve watched leave a silvery trail on the sidewalk. I like how the “silver” shines. 🙂
