G'day, and welcome to my blog site. My name is Ivor Steven, I live in Geelong, Australia. I'm an ex-industrial chemist, and a retired plumber, and a former Carer of my wife(Carole), for 30 years, who suffered from severe MS. I Write poetry about those personal thoughts, throughout and beyond my life as a Carer.
I've been blogging for over 2 years, and writing poems for 19 years. Of course a lot of my poems are about my favourite subject Carole, but since I've been blogging my writings have become quite varied, humourous, mystical, observational, and even a few monster/horror poems.

Brilliant! And this song that should be playing in each of our backgrounds right now.
Pero que maravilla! He resonado en muchos renglones. Te mando un gran abrazo desde argentina y nuevo seguidor! Tambien escribo mucho… ojalá te pases por mi blog y tambien resuenes!
Such a powerful, powerful, powerful trio of photos, poem and song. I so appreciate your poems speaking out about the horrible, sad, heart-breaking events going on in the world. Keep writing, keep sharing, Ivor. We must all speak up, speak out and model a life of peace.

Ivor, thank you for standing up for your ideals in this era of chaos and despair. Ideals give us hope for better days. 🌈 🦋 🌍 💕

It’s all a bit worrying, isn’t it, Ivor? Still, no use in worrying about things we can’t change – better change what we can 🙂
