Hello, dear readers and followers. I contribute to Coffee House Writers Magazine (USA) every second week, and I’m delighted to share that my latest poem, “Don’t Worry, Home is Anywhere,” appears in the new issue. You can read it by following the link below.

A rain‑soaked afternoon left my pigeon photos a little blurred,
yet even in that dull light, a small metaphor took wing —
a plain‑grey bird rising above the world’s worrying affairs.

And as the music rises, even a plain‑grey bird reminds us that home is wherever we dare to lift ourselves above the world’s worrying affairs.

A powerful poem, Ivor! More than worthy of ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐’s! 🙂
‘Tis a joy, and brings some peace, to watch the birds soar above it all. 🙂 Reminds me that even though I can’t fly like a bird physically…I can fly like a bird emotionally and mentally…chose an attitude, actions, and feelings to reflect the beauty of the sky, “flying” above all of the negatives in the world…use those “storms” to reach higher heights. 🙂 (((HUGS))) and ❤️☁️𓅯 ☁️❤️

Lovely comments, and yes, that’s what my poem is all about, we are not birds, but emotionally we can fly like the birds, through all the stormy weather, with an attitude of resilience and persistence, Carolyn 🌏💙🦅📘📃🥰🐶
