G'day, and welcome to my blog site. My name is Ivor Steven, I live in Geelong, Australia. I'm an ex-industrial chemist, and a retired plumber, and a former Carer of my wife(Carole), for 30 years, who suffered from severe MS. I Write poetry about those personal thoughts, throughout and beyond my life as a Carer.
I've been blogging for over 2 years, and writing poems for 19 years. Of course a lot of my poems are about my favourite subject Carole, but since I've been blogging my writings have become quite varied, humourous, mystical, observational, and even a few monster/horror poems.

The moon is wonderful that way, isn’t he …. or she? 🌓 ♡ 😎
Oh, Ivor! Your photos, your poem, and that song by Elvis…such a serene, hopeful, encouraging trio-of-a-message that we all need! 🙂 So important in today’s world! Thank you! 🙂
(((HUGS))) for you and Sir Frankie!!! ❤️❤️❤️
Hi Carolyn, thank you so much for all your lovely words (((HUGS))) … 💙🌏📘🎶💕 … still no internet connection here, (3 days so far) so everything is slow and tedious on my iPhone… and very tiring for this old poet … going to bed early tonight, the technicians are supposed to be here in the morning (Monday) …💻
No luck today… the technician has been and gone … the problem escalating… it’s an outside job … linesmen, trucks and ladders… 24 to 48 hours of waiting still to go!!! 🥰📖💻
I love the quote, thank you, Eugi … I’m in bed early tonight … I’ve had no internet connection for 3 days and have been battling with my ISP and finally tomorrow they going to send technicians to my house … 🏡
